Your records stay on your device
The app stores your training hours, skill practice, work shifts, CEU entries, quiz answers and results, unfinished quizzes, preferences, training goals, and agreement receipts on your device. It does not automatically send these records to the operator. There is no app account, operator-run journal server, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK.
Apple device backups may include app data depending on your settings. Exported files go to a destination you choose and may be stored or shared outside the app. Older prototype records may contain fields that current entry forms no longer offer.
If you contact support
The optional Contact Us form sends your message, reply email, category, and app version through Formspree to the support mailbox. Formspree processes connection information, such as IP address, to deliver and protect its service. Messages may be stored in the Formspree account and support mailbox. No journal records are automatically attached.
If you email support directly, your email provider and the support mailbox process your message and email address. Information you choose to send is used to respond, troubleshoot, manage support requests, and meet applicable obligations. Do not include patient information or sensitive personal details.
Support messages are retained while needed for those purposes. Email support to request deletion of messages held by the operator. Copies controlled by service providers, previously sent emails, backups, or legal retention requirements may be handled separately under their policies.
Subscriptions
Apple handles purchases, billing, trial eligibility, and subscription management. CNA Buddy uses StoreKit to verify purchase information, such as the product purchased, expiration, and revocation or renewal status, to determine access. The operator does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password. Apple processes purchase information under its own privacy policy.
External links and this website
Opening an official resource or other external link connects to that website, which has its own privacy practices. This support website does not include an analytics or advertising script. The hosting provider processes connection information necessary to deliver and secure the website.
Your choices
You can remove individual log entries using available app controls. Saved records remain available to view and export after a subscription ends. Deleting the app can remove local records and receipts, but does not cancel a subscription or delete exports, backups, or support messages. Keep appropriate copies of important records. There is no operator recovery or journal-import service.
No patient records
CNA Buddy is for study and personal training logs. Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, room numbers, medical record numbers, or other identifying information. The app is not a patient-record system.
Children
CNA Buddy is intended for CNA students and is not directed to children under 13. Do not send information about a child through support. A parent or guardian can contact the operator about information sent in error.
Changes
This page may be updated as the app changes. Material changes to information handling will be explained before new collection begins. A saved agreement receipt records only the notice actually accepted.
